An EU co-funded initiative building resilience and innovation across Vocational Education and Training systems in Europe.
RAISE is a three-year Erasmus+ initiative that aims to improve the quality of vocational education in Montenegro and Albania. The project focuses on modernising teaching methods, strengthening the competences of teachers and training managers, and developing modern, sustainable and digitally equipped learning spaces.
A special focus is on the application of advanced technologies — extended reality (XR), artificial intelligence (AI) and IoT — providing students with experiential, interactive and motivating learning that meets the demands of the modern labour market.
Seven institutions from four countries (Belgium, Spain, Montenegro and Albania) form an international consortium bringing together vocational schools, universities, and European organisations specialised in innovative educational practices.
The RAISE project follows a simple and clear path — from understanding real needs to creating lasting impact. First, we identify the main challenges in vocational education by working with stakeholders and analysing the situation (WP2). Then, we design and develop practical tools and solutions that respond to those needs (WP3). These solutions are tested in real environments to make sure they truly work in practice (WP4). Finally, we build on these results to support long-term improvements and influence policies in the VET sector (WP5).
